Create a segment

Forest Admin lets you filter and segment any group of records to organize your data. Generally, they corresponds to the different steps of an operational process.

For example, we're implementing here the companies' on-boarding process and creating 4 segments corresponding to the possible on-boarding status: New signups, Pending, Rejected and Live.

By default, you can access to the segments from the collection's header. But we can also set a shortcut directly in the navigation bar. To do that, you just need to enable the Layout Editor mode and check the boxes besides each segment.
