The Layout Editor is only available for the following roles: Administrator, Developer, Editor.
Your auto-generated admin panel is a visual representation of your database. However, you may want to adjust the order of your tables, save filters, and decide how to display your data in a different way - whatever makes your team more productive.
In this part of the tutorial, you will learn:
How to customize the auto-generated UI to display the customer data in the right order.
How to save filters to let your team access segments of data with one click without the need to apply filters each time - e.g. to have a list of accounts that are ready to onboard.
How to present all relevant data and action buttons on one screen.
It all starts with clicking on the Edit layout button.
Check this interactive tutorial to see how to customize your layout.
For the best experience, click on the arrows in the top nav bar or use your keyboard.
To learn more how to master your UI, go to the official documentation:
Segments are designed for people who want to systematically display data based on specific filters. It lets you save your filter settings so you don't have to repeat the same actions daily (e.g. signups this week, pending transactions).
For the Customer Onboarding project, we want KYB analysts to be able to quickly access e.g. only companies that can't be onboarded before they send required documents. Check this tutorial to see how to create and use segments.

Summary Views let you easily see the most important details about each record, such as a user and available actions. You can customize them using a visual editor without needing to write any code. In this example, we created a simple view that lets you see the most important data about the company and action buttons all on one screen.
Summary Views are also the fundament for creating Inboxes: Automated queues of records, crucial for smooth KYC and KYB processes. Inboxes are covered in the step.

Now it's time to cover some advanced customizations. You will learn:
How to add functionalities to approve and reject users and companies in the onboarding. All with no-code!
How to add a functionality to update the status of a user or a company using our low-code developer workflow.
How to display different customer documents the way you want to, not the way they're stored in the database.
How to make your Onboarding team even more productive thanks to AI-powered custom actions.
Do you need more advanced filtering? Imagine giving KYB analysts from France access only to the French accounts. This can be done via Scopes
